These beautiful trees are found through North America, Europe and Asia. My sponsor child wrote a handwritten letter asking for some pictures. So I printed out a few and put them inside her Thanksgiving card. I’m actually holding Carolina’s 2015 World Vision progress report photo in my hand as a sweet surprise. Quick Tip: When […]
Today, my sponsor child turns thirteen. I love you from afar Carolina!
Today marks the 10 year anniversary of sponsoring Carolina through World Vision!
I mailed her a cute Koala bear card and paper doll. Do you think the Koala-fy pun will get lost in translation? To save on shipping cost I didn’t include the Lisa Frank box. Without it the small surprise easily fit inside.
Today, not only do I celebrate the gift of being an auntie, but also my 34th and Carolina’s 12th birthday. Oh my look at those puppy dog eyes. Mirror, mirror, on the baby jumper who is the fairest baby of them all? James (gasp) wait a second mirror did you just say James? You do […]
What’s better than getting a card from someone who loves you? Getting three cards, of course. I was at the store reading different cards. After a while I narrowed it down to these… I couldn’t pick just one so I’m sending all of them including an iridescent fairies sticker sheet because Carolina deserves it!
Most kids like to spell things and truly enjoy the learning process so I thought Carolina would appreciate these. I hooked her up with enough packets so that she could share with her school friends.
World Vision sent me a photo of Carolina sitting next to the gifts that were mailed back in May. It’s nice seeing her smiling face. It’d be nice to see yours too. May God bless you and all of your loved ones year-round. Oh, and guess what I found? A second photo inside the envelope and […]
Carolina (my sponsor child) will be turning eleven this coming July (2013) so I sent her care package early to make sure she’ll get it prior to her special day. Inside there was chalk, dolls, hand puppet, crayons, coloring books, magic paint books, colored pencils, purple high heel pencil sharpener, flower shaped erasers, pens, pencils, […]
Last year I sent Carolina some holiday gifts. I kinda wish they wouldn’t have delivered the gifts at school though because I wasn’t trying to make the other children feel bad or left out. Nevertheless, World Vision sent me another nice photo to cherish. Carolina’s mother (Josefa) and father are doing such an amazing job […]
I like when my sponsor child Carolina writes to me. She celebrated her ninth birthday on July 27th. Her favorite color used to be red but now it’s purple. She is academically excelling in primary school. Carolina is such a nice girl who mentioned that she can now speak two languages.
I remember growing up how coloring books were a treat but it was always fun to create your own art from scratch. Nowadays I like creating “digital art” and doing crafts but that’s a whole nother story… My friend’s son Tristen made a quick sketch with a pen handed it to me […]
Carolina (my sponsor child) turns seven and I am in the last year of my twenties turning twenty-nine today.
Today my sponsor child turns six years old and celebrates her special day as well. Happy Birthday Carolina!
