Weekly Dose Post #279

This is stuff I found while browsing the net. Check back every Monday for more…

Joke of the Week:

It was Black Friday, the day of the big sale.

Rumors of this incredibly amazing 6:00 am early bird sale (and some advertising in the local paper) were the main reason for the long line that formed in front of the store.

Around 5:45 am, an elderly man pushed his way to the front of the line, only to be pushed back, with people yelling: “NO CUTTING ALLOWED!” and “GET TO THE BACK OF THE LINE OLD MAN, BEFORE YOU GET HURT!”

On the man’s second attempt, he was punched square in the jaw, and knocked around a bit, and then thrown at the end of the line again.

As he got up, he said to the person at the end of the line, “That does it! If they hit me one more time, I won’t open the store!”

Weird Fact of the Week:

All Lemons must be picked by hand when they are harvested.

One lemon tree will produce about 1,500 lemons a year.

Quote of the Week:

“Enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it with all your might. Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic and faithful, and you will accomplish your object. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
