Joke of the Week:
If two silk worms had a race, how would it end?
In a tie.
Weird Fact of the Week:
Penguins have a supraorbital gland in the area just above the eye socket which removes sodium chloride (salt) from the bloodstream. The gland’s function is similar to that of the kidneys, though it is much more efficient at removing salt, allowing Penguins to survive without access to fresh water.
Quote of the Week:
“We should be careful and discriminating in all the advice we give. We should be especially careful in giving advice that we would not think of following ourselves. Most of all, we ought to avoid giving counsel which we don’t follow when it damages those who take us at our word.” – Adlai Stevenson
