Baked Macaroni & Cheese

I enjoy cooking for my family and friends. It’s fun to watch their reaction after they take that first bite. When I make this dish I put cream cheese in the sauce to make it thick, that way I only have to use a very small amount of flour. I also cut up cheese cubes, stir them in & top it off with shredded cheese of course. Bake in the oven at 350° F (175° C) for approximately 40 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown & slightly crispy. Some people (including myself) go all out when cooking and this would be considered just a “side dish” but tonight it’s the main dish, side dish, & dessert, because that’s all I feel like fixing…
What’s in my sauce? butter (4 tablespoons), flour (1 tablespoon), Philadelphia Cream Cheese (8oz bar), milk ( 1 ½ cups), add a little taste by putting a few dashes of garlic salt, pepper, or Mrs. Dash seasoning.
